Cascades Langley is a region located in the province of British Columbia, Canada. It is situated approximately 30 kilometers southeast of Vancouver and covers an area of about 18 square miles. The region has a population of around 23,000 residents according to the 2020 census.
The Cascades region of Langley boasts a rich history dating back thousands of years with Cascades Langley evidence of early human habitation and settlement. The name “Langley” is derived from the British politician Sir Edward Bulwer-Lytton who was the Member of Parliament for Hertford in the mid-19th century. He had named his country estate Lytton Hall after himself, which eventually became known as Langley.

Berries are among the primary crops that thrive here, along with various fruits such as strawberries and raspberries. Cascades Langley enjoys easy accessibility due to the presence of Highway 13 (Langley Bypass) connecting it to Vancouver via Highway 99. The region is also accessible by public transportation such as buses and trains which offer commuters relatively frequent schedules making daily travel simple for both residents and workers commuting from nearby cities like Surrey, Delta or White Rock.
In addition, nearby major airports including the International Airport at Sea-Tac in Washington state (about an hour’s drive) and Vancouver International Airport are within a reasonable driving distance facilitating easy access for business travelers.
